Sterility assurance for each cryopreservation tube
In order to comply with contaminant-free workflows, Maxxline sterile cryo vials are sterilized with a process that is compliant with international standards (SAL 10-6 according to DIN EN ISO 11137). Each cryopreservation tube also carries a five-year warranty from the date of sterilization (subject to proper handling of the product and packaging).
Contaminant-free sterile cryo vials
In addition to the being sterile, these cryopreservation tubes and their packaging are free of detectable heavy metal contamination. They are also quality checked against BSE/TSE, cytotoxic substances, and any detectable RNases/DNases. With Maxxline sterile cryo vials your samples will be kept free from packaging induced contamination.
Leak-proof sterile cryo vials
A unique feature of all Maxxline sterile cryo vials is the external thread design that reduces the risk of contamination without adding bulk to the cryopreservation tube. The quick seal caps can be tightened or removed from each cryopreservation tube with only half a turn. Each sterile cryo vial cap has a lip seal that guarantees leak-proof sample storage.
Durable cryopreservation tubes
Made from a unique polypropylene formulation, Maxxline sterile cryo vials have a large thermal range (-196°C to 121°C) and pressure tolerance (95kPa/0.95bar). All our cryopreservation tubes can be safely autoclaved after use to minimize the risk of sample cross-contamination. They also feature a large writing area and visible graduation marks in 0.5mL intervals.
